Valerie Martin Bailey has been in the writing, editing, and publishing field since 1970. She spent twenty-one years managing a large printing facility and has spent seventeen years editing books and magazines. She is an accomplished writer and an award-winning poet who donates much of her time to promoting poetry at the local, state, and national level. She volunteers the editing and publishing of Encore, the anthology of prize winning poems of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies and The Dreamcatcher, the anthology of the Laurel Crown Foundation for the promotion of literary arts.
